JESUS LOVES YOU. It's never too late to turn to Him.
Before you quit reading...just ask yourself - WHAT IF YOU'RE WRONG? Just what IF this JESUS stuff IS RIGHT?
If you were to die today, do you know where you'd spend eternity? What HOPE do you have?
If you were to die today, do you understand you would stand before a Holy God and be asked what you did with His Son - JESUS?
Our opinion. Your opinion. About all of this...
really doesn't matter.
We WILL stand before the Creator of all things.
(Actually we won't be standing, but the reality of being in the presence of a Holy God will have us on our knees falling on our faces before Him.)
Life is too short to not be honest with you.
So here it is.
Heaven is real. Hell is real. JESUS is real.
Sin is sin. The Bible is TRUTH.
Again. Our opinion... doesn't matter.
We don't have to like hell (who would??).
We don't have to like what the Bible says about sin (frankly sin can be enjoyable...until we experience the emptiness and consequences from falling into choices that break the heart of God, and lead us into brokenness).
But at the end of the day... at the end of our life...
we WILL have to respond on behalf of our earthly response to JESUS, His Word, His way.
Most people agree that someone who does wrong
should be punished.
Well, the Bible says we ALL are sinners.
Therefore, we all deserve punishment.
The Bible says that punishment will be hell if we choose to reject JESUS.
The good news is...
JESUS Himself chose to step in and take the punishment for your sins when He died for you on the cross. He left the incredible glory of heaven and being honored and worshipped by angels, to come live on this earth, and be rejected, abused, and finally crucified on the cross -
FOR YOU.
Accepting that in humility, and thanking Him for what He did on the cross for you, and telling Him that you are sorry for your sins, and that you want to place your trust in HIS plan for your life and surrender to Him and His will is simply done through a prayer from your heart. There's no specific phrases that magically make you His, you just believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that HE IS LORD, and seek His Spirit to help guide you to live as He desires you to live - FREE from guilt and shame and filled with HOPE and PEACE, JOY and PURPOSE.
Romans 10:9

CHANGE BEGINS WITH PRAYER
If you are NOT actively spending QUALITY time in PRAYER, if we could encourage you to change ONE thing (besides a full surrender to JESUS) it would be TO PRAY. We know that sounds simple. But honestly, it's in this simple way, that you will experience a depth in knowing JESUS and experiencing His direction, comfort, peace, and calling on your life like never before. Be disciplined in it. DAILY. Set QUALITY time aside for it. Take an evening or morning weekly for just your own lengthy worship and prayer time. You'll be amazed at how GOD will minister to your life and circumstances.
